Now gamers know when to expect the chaos as Sony has announced that God of War 3 will be released on March 16. We’re a mere two months from the final chapter in one of the most action-packed games released in the past decade and you know it’s going to end bloody as hell.
Aside from the telling us when the game is coming out Sony also released the final box art for the game along with the packaging for the previously announced God of War 3 Ultimate Edition. Not only was the Ultimate Edition shaping up to be an awesome package for a GOW fan but the box for it is just sexy as hell. Kratos striking a bad-ass battle pose = nominee for best Collector’s Edition sku of the year.
To put the icing on the cake Sony also announced that we can expect a new God of War 3 trailer on the February 11 episode of GameTrailers TV. Personally it’s going to be a bit hard for me to watch footage for the game since it’ll make the wait until release much more grueling.

sigh, the same day they release the new Dragon Age Expansion
The Ultimate Edition looks pretty nice, but I'm not a fan of spending extra money on those type of things.
