Last time we got a look at the West and then the weapons at your disposal. Now Rockstar Games gives us a look at the “Life in the West” in this new Red Dead Redemption docu video. Despite what some may think the Old West wasn’t just filled with Cowboys shooting one another. There were actually “common” folk such as Blacksmiths and Ranchers.
The bulk of RDR’s gameplay revolves around gun slinging but there’s more to do than that. You can actually become a true Cowboy and become a Rancher and herd cows and even capture wild horses via your lasso. Those things plus gambling and hunting animals are just a few of the many detailed side-quests you can do in Red Dead Redemption.
Rockstar really has nailed the Western tone in Red Dead Redemption and hopefully waiting for its May 18th release will go by quickly.
sucks that this game is coming out May 18th the same release date for Lost Planet 2 and Alan Wake which are bigger gaming priorities for me at the moment
Great vid,certainly looks like they captured the Old West amazingly.
Bethesda combined both the sandbox and the RPG genres perfectly, and it seems like Rockstar's repeating that awesome idea.
This game looks amazing. I can't wait to play this.
