Super Street Fighter IV got its final character announcement today. Hakan is your last addition to the roster before the game’s release date. The only word I can seem to come up with to describe Hakan is creepy. He seems to focus around Greco-roman styled wrestling, and he oils up before every fight. Not only before each fight either unfortunately. The first game-play footage provided, courtesy of IGN, has him oiling up several times during the fight.
It’s enough to make my skin crawl. Honestly, I’m a little bit afraid to go online with Super Street Fighter IV because of the very likely situation that someone actually picks this guy. Below are a couple of videos. After watching these you may find yourself in need of a shower. Pay attention to his first Ultra Combo. It’s got to be the single creepiest finishing move I’ve ever seen in Street Fighter.
Apparently his shoryuken motion makes him pour more oil on himself. So uh... yeah.
