Name: Ian Fisher

What is it: Monster Hunter Mahumohu PSP Pouch

Why would it be cool to own: Protecting your PSP is always an important thing so what better way to do it than with this faux fur Monster Hunter PSP pouch.  The pouch is a stylish yet affordable option that is based on one of the costumes from the Monster Hunter PSP game.  Fans of the property will surely love the pouch as it's a nice way to show their fandom and folks who aren't familiar with Monster Hunter may dig it due to how original looking it is. And how can you not like a faux fur PSP pouch?

Why can't I have it: Well the pouch is certainly possible to get as it only retails for around $18 but most sites no longer have it in stock so that leaves only one dreaded option: eBay, and they don't even have any available currently. So the Monster Hunter Mahumohu Pouch is certainly a rare item to find now but it's definitely worth the search.

What is it: Ultimate Gaming Chair Version 3 Recliner

Why it would be cool to own: I've always fantasized about owning an awesome gaming chair. Thought about building a couch with a built in fridge in the side, and arms that open to store remotes/controllers. But I'm lazy, and I like to have my own space. This chair is the answer to both those issues. I'll get my own comfy-ass chair with built in speakers and vibration, plus I don't need to build it!

Why I can't have it: $499.99 is a little more then I'm comfortably paying for a chair. But one day when I'm rich and own my own movie theater, every seat in the viewing room will be one of these bad-boys!

What it is: FPS Gaming Vest. It's a vest filled with 8 pneumatic air powered cells embedded in the vest that poke you when you're hit in the game. (Picture a controller rumble pack that you wear.

Why it would be cool to own: I'm all for the complete gaming immersion experience and this vest is actually pretty neat.  I was fortunate enough to test drive this contraption at last year's Penny Arcade Expo (holla out if you're heading down this year =D) and it performs exactly as advertised. The jabs you receive are fast, precise and would accurately tenderize the part of your torso that corresponds to the hit on screen. You could easily receive the equivalent of a deep tissue massage just by playing a couple rounds of Halo.  The one game I'd absolutely need to get this for would be Bonnie and Clyde (the movie): The Game for the end scene.

Why I can't have it:  I could theoretically have it but the downside for me is it's PC only and these days I'm a console gamer.

What is it: Optimus Maximus Keyboard - A keyboard where every single key is a tiny LCD screen that is intelligent to what programs you are using. For example, when using photoshop and you press CTRL, all of the possible icons relating to shortcuts appear on the keys in place of the letters. Man programs auto load these icons for you, but if they don't exist you can make your own! The keyboard knows when you are in a different window or change applications.

Why it would be cool to own: It's fricken sexy and would be fantastic for PC gaming. You can set any of the hot keys down the left hand side to do whatever macros you want, in any program. Very handy.

Why I can't have it: Well, I could have it. They are very expensive but not unattainable. They run around $1,599.99USD. I have been waiting for the second generation to roll out as I think the LED's will be greatly improved in future models. You can check out a demo in the link below.

What is it: PhoneSuit MiLi Pro Video Projector

Why it would be cool to own: Imagine combining this gem with a flexible iPhone cord and playing your iPhone apps on a big screen wall. Portable gaming has just gotten a lot cooler.

Why I can't have it:  Well, I can... but.... I.... don't own an IiPhone..... (waits for screams)... Yeah I know i have a normal phone that just plain old calls people, sigh. But myself and all the staff at Shogungamer are wlling to accept free iPhones so we can test products for your reading pleasure.

That Monster Hunter Mahumohu PSP Pouch is so cool. But is it just me or does it look a bit girly? However a white PSP would look great in it.

Well, I got to say that Ultimate Gaming Chair Version 3 Recliner was the most badass. All were great but that one won.

Huh, not sure if I'd rather have the ultimate gaming chair or the vest... since I only really console game I spose I'd have to go for the chair, because having a good gaming chair is key for those long sessions of Fallout 3 where you completely lose track of hours..days...sometimes weeks
