Finally thanks to TGS we have some new footage for Dead Rising 2 including our first look at the inventive multiplayer mode. If you’re looking for fun ways to kill zombies then DR2 is the game for you and people will definitely get a kick out of some of the new weapons.
Among the new weapons players can use to kill the endless zombie horde include combining a pitchfork and a shotgun to make an almost modern take on the bayonet.
The multiplayer mode for the game looks to be interesting since instead of being a one-off mode set in the same locales as the single-player campaign it looks to have a completely different story and setting. In the multiplayer mode you play a contestant in the popular reality show “Terror is Reality” in which you may have assumed involves killing zombies. The whole point of the game is to get the highest score which is possible by doing inventive kills and combos. Up to four players can jump online and participate in Terror is Reality in the hope of becoming the #1 zombie killer.
And is it just me or does the single-player campaign seems to be missing something? The game looks solid visually and the weapons look cool but it doesn’t seem to have that same pop as DR1. I just hope we don’t have to wait long to see some of the crazier scenarios in the single-player campaign.

I'm not feeling the MP, I'm assuming thats the only form of MP the game will have. The first DR looked a lot sharper and more detailed than the sequel. I wonder if they are going for more of an arcade feel to the game.
This game is going to be alot of fun to play. I can't wait for it to come out.
