Today Rockstar Games and Take-Two announced the latest episode of DLC for Grand Theft Auto IV in the form of Grand Theft Auto: The Ballad of Gay Tony which is once again exclusive to the Xbox 360. This latest chapter in the GTA universe finds players assuming the role of Luis Lopez. Now Luis isn’t a hardened biker like Johnny Kleibitz was and is instead a low level hoodlum who also works as an assistant for nightclub owner Tony Prince who is also known as “Gay Tony”.
The Press Release for the game describes the story as:
So all in all it sounds like yet another typical day in Liberty City as we know it would be quite odd not to have any backstabbings or under the table deals going on.
Along with announcing The Ballad of Gay Tony Rockstar also announced that users would be able to pick up this latest DLC along with the previous release, The Lost and Damned, together on a single disc for only $39.99. The disc titled Grand Theft Auto: Episodes from Liberty City won’t require users to own a copy of GTA IV to play so anyone can pick up the game and get in on the action. Perhaps even PS3 owners who also own a 360 will be able to get in on this since they won’t have to buy another copy of a game they already own.
For those only interested in purchasing The Ballad of Gay Tony the pack will be released this fall $19.99/1600 MS Points.
I assume a trailer and accompanying media for the game will be released shortly and based on how well the previous DLC was received I’m sure we’re all in for a treat with this upcoming pack.
