Radial Dialogue - Episode 13 - YouTube vs. Twitch

Hopefully by now you've all had a chance to look at the Mario Party 10 review that was posted up earlier this week, if not (or if you wanted to see it in operation live) we played through a Bowser Party tonight on Radial Dialogue! Jen played out the role of King Koopa and well... it was interesting, to say the least.

Radial Dialogue - Episode 12 - X-Files and Preacher

Hopefully some of you were able to join us, it does look like the viewership is (slowly) growing, which is exciting and rewarding for us here! Episode 12 deviates from the video-game centric talk though and allows Jen and I the opportunity to talk about some stuff (outside of gaming) that had us excited today. Chiefly amongst those pieces were the details surrounding a particular casting for the upcoming AMC series Preacher and the return of X-Files to Fox!

Geralt Gains a Dynamic Beard in Witcher 3

I'm a huge fan of games that pay attention to the small details. More often than not a game will get some bonus points, and even make me overlook other flaws, if they get the little things right. A prime example would be the Amazing Spider-man game, who took the time to animate web-cartridge reloads on Spider-man. It was a small touch that made the nerd in me crazy excited!

Radial Dialogue - Episode 11 - Twitch, Security and Skin

Welcome, fans! There’s plenty of talk and rage on the most recent episodes as Jen and I dig through a couple of stories that we had things to say about. Twitch was attacked recently, causing everyone to need a change of their passwords… good thing they don’t store your credit card information!

PlayStation Retrospective: Network Adaptor

Online gaming on PC has been around forever, but it took quite a while for it to be the norm on consoles. Older generations tried it ala Sega Channel and other outlets, but it really wasn't until the Network Adapter for Playstation 2 arrived in 2002 which is when it started to hit its stride and lay the groundwork for Xbox Live and PSN moving forward. If you're newer to gaming or younger than myself, you simply might take online gaming for granted. Hell, you might even take being online for granted also.

Say It Ain't So - Kojima Leaving Konami

Things have apparently come to a head between Kojima Productions and Konami, and we might be seeing them implode for good.

An inside source reported earlier today that after Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain, Kojima Productions will be breaking off from Konami for good.

More Content Coming to Evolve - Not Just Skins

Are you already getting the hang out of the available hunters on Evolve since it dropped? Well, good news: it's time to try something new.
2K Games and Turtle Rock Studios have announced that on March 31, they're throwing down four brand-new hunter classes to play, as well as one new monster. The better news is that if you don't purchase it, you'll still be able to play with or against them online, so you won't be delegated to the dark corners of the Internet for people who don't buy DLC.

PlayStation Retrospective: Jade Cocoon

Does anyone here remember Poké-Mania? These days, Pokémon clones are a dime a dozen. Just log onto iStore or Google Play and I'm sure you'll find another soulless Pokémon clone with poorly designed monsters. But back in the tail-end of the '90s, the subgenre of Pokémon clones was just beginning, and back then they actually tried. Some games had their charms like Monster Rancher. Others like Digimon, had awesome monsters, but failed to find their footing in the gaming world.

New Nintendo Hardware Hinted

A scant two and a half years into the Wii U's admittedly worrisome sales life, Nintendo CEO Satoru Iwata is starting to leak ideas about Nintendo's "next hardware", codenamed NX.

Come on fellas, even the Dolphin is more creative than that.

As far as the actual hardware though (which was asked about at a shareholders' meeting), Iwata-san made a point of saying that Nintendo was "not at a dead end of any kind in which we are out of ideas", and made a point of saying "we first make sure that those who have already purchased out platforms are satisfied."
