Portal 2 will feature creatable maps and two separate credit sequences

Most everyone loved Portal. It was a short, but fun and creative game with a rather interesting way of showing humor. With Portal 2 coming soon, Valve has been kind enough to give a very interesting bit of news, for the modding community.

According to an interview from NowGamer with Chet Faliszek, a Valve Writer, “the mod tools have to stay on the PC side just because there’s a bunch of dependencies that require the Windows platform, but the content that comes out is agnostic, and so we will be seeing that on all the platforms. Depending on the platform you’re on I should say, will depend on how we’re delivering it." He further said that “there’s just a lot of value in engaging the community because they’re smart, they’re thinking of really cool things and we want to be able to have everyone share that.”

On top of this news, there is more info from Faliszek, from Videogamer. According to them, Portal 2 will have two end credit sequences. He said that "both sets of credits [will feature something special], because we’ve got two credits, so we had to do something twice as amazing.” He would not give further details about the sequences, with it being known that Jonathan Coulton, writer of the song 'Still Alive,' which played at the end of the first Portal, it is possible that he may be involved with these two sequences.
