It looks like Capcom may not have entirely lost faith in their new IP Dark Void as a demo will be made available this week. The demo will be available on Xbox Live on January 6 and will hit the PlayStation Network on January 7.
Exact details on the demo weren’t specified aside from that it will offer players an opportunity to test out the games jetpack along with the unique vertical cover mechanics.
From what I’ve seen Dark Void looks like it should be a solid game that’s a nice mix of 3rd person shooters like Uncharted combined with the aerial goodness found in Warhawk. It’s also good that Capcom is releasing a demo so those on the fence about the game, which is probably a lot of people since it’s a new IP, can test it out and perhaps commit to the purchase.
Dark Void is set for release on January 19 and a review will be up on the site shortly thereafter.

-UPDATE-
As stated on the PlayStation Blog the demo will include a flying tutorial, a UFO dogfighting section and to complete the demo players will be able to partake in some ground combat along with experiencing the vertical cover mechanics.
All in all that sound's like a good demo and one that doesn't hold back when it comes to showing people what the game offers.
good to know that there is a demo coming out so i can try it out since its the next game on my Gamefly queue. If its good I keep it on the list then if it sucks then I'll probably get Assassin's Creed 2 or The Saboteur. demo rules!!!
