In a somewhat odd pairing Sony has announced that the Blu-ray version of the sci-fi drama District 9 will include a demo for God of War 3. So if you weren’t planning on picking up the God of War Collection which includes a download voucher for the game you can try out Kratos’ latest adventure if you were planning to pick up D9.
That isn't all the God of War 3 goodness as upon completing the demo users will unlock a making of feature which will undoubtedly show the hard work that’s been put into making this final chapter in the God of War series the epic we all expect it to be.
It’s nice to see the branches of Sony working together to put game content with movies since there hasn’t been anything major since the UMD release of Stealth which included an unlockable ship for Wipeout Pulse. District 9 was one of the year’s best movies and having a little God of War 3 goodness just sweetens the deal.
District 9 will be available on Blu-ray on December 29th.
