Xbox One Master Chief Collection Bundle for $349

Well, it was bound to happen... If there's one thing that has a history of moving Microsoft's consoles it's Halo. There was obviously going to be some tie-in with the Master Chief collection and the Xbox One console itself. So here we go: Master Chief Edition Xbox One console and game.

As you might have already guessed the collection comes with a limited edition Xbox One console which includes a digital code for the Halo: Master Chief Collection. That means the full suite of Halo games (featuring our favourite helmet-wearing hero for the Xbox): Halo: CE, Halo 2: CE, Halo 3, Halo 4, and all the extra goodies that come along with the package like Halo: Nightfall in its entirety.

Unfortunately Halo: The Master Chief Collection has been stumbled, somewhat, by the massive technical issues its been having (still over 3 months after the launch of the game). You may recall we mentioned this in our review of the game itself...

Still, if you're looking for an excuse to pick up a Xbox One (finally) and you love you some Halos, this isn't a bad package to pick up for yourself. Retail is at $349 (USD), and it will release in the US during March, but will not include a Kinect.

Here in Canada we can look forward to the bundle in April, for $399 (CAD).
