Ubisoft is giving gamers a taste of the Old West once again via the forthcoming PSN/XBL/PC title Call of Juarez Gunslinger. Yet another entry in Techland’s/Ubisoft’s Call of Juarez series, Gunslinger sees the franchise returns to its roots once more by having a tale set in the 1800s as opposed to the modern day drug cartel battles found in the somewhat disappointing Call of Juarez: The Cartel.
We’ve already seen a decent amount of what Gunslinger has to offer, but now Ubisoft has released info that matters the most: the price and release date. Scheduled to arrive on the consoles and PC on May 22nd, Call of Juarez Gunslinger will retail for the rather moderate price of $14.99.
Now you shouldn’t let the digitally distributed nature of Gunslinger fool you since Techland has seemingly gone all out in the title, perhaps surpassing their previous efforts with this newfound balance between realism and the somewhat pulpy tone of Old West tales. With a story in place that has a lone hero battling those who require swift justice, Gunslinger looks like it’ll be a fun action romp to spend some time with, especially if you’re aching for another Old West cowboy game to experience.
