As you guys know the eventuality became a reality during this year's E3 as Sony announces that starting June 29th you will be able to subscribe to a different tier of the PSN.

A one year subscription will cost you $49.99 and a 3 month subscription will run you $17.99. They are running a promo where you can sign up for the year subscription and you get an additional 3 months free so you get 15 months for the price of 12 months.

What you get with your subscription:

  • Full game Trial: Up to one hour to play select PS3, PSN and PS One Classics. The trials will be available for a limited time to download and the games that will have the trials will change every month. 
  • Automatic Downloads: Your PS3 can now be configured to automatically download certain game demos, game patches and also download the system software updates. PS3 will automatically start up at a designated time to download content and will turn off after the download has complete.
  • Exclusive Discounts: Get access to exclusive discounts on designated PS3 and PSP titles. Titles will alternate every month on PlayStation Store.
  • Priority Betas and Demo Invites : Be the first to play Betas and Demos on select upcoming PS3 titles
  • Free Stuff: Get free avatars, themes, monthly episodes of Qore and even play select PS3, PS One Classics and PSN games without limits for free as long as your membership remains in good standing.

You have to be 18 years or older to be eligible for Plus.
