Are there any good video game podcasts?  I've been listening to a lot lately and I'm just shocked at the poor quality, common mis-information or lack of info that fill them and the discussion that is often way off-topic or boils down to average fanboy forum banter.

Feel free to post the podcasts you listen to as I'm interested to see what people like.

I only listen to 3 gaming podcasts, IGN Podcast beyond, Kojipro Podcast, and the GiantBombcast. My favorite would have to be the GiantBombcast, they do get wildly off topic but it's funny and usually what they say is pretty informative. Podcast beyond is only good because of Greg Miller and KojiPro is for people that just want to know what's going on with Kojima Productions otherwise it's very awkwardly japanese but in english.

No. While I do think there could be a few small improvements made to Quarter Save, most of which involve the actual show descriptions and expanding certain segments, I think the core of the show is pretty solid.  Most of the podcasts I have problems with are the small "indie" ones who get invites to events or review copies for games yet they produce a show that sounds like a bunch of forum dudes having a convo on Skype.

If anyone has the time and don't mind a bit of punishment I suggest you go here and listen to any of the main shows such as Dead Pixel Live or Electric Sisterhood to get an idea of what I mean.

That Dead Pixel show is god awful. I remember you showing me that before. The host is really bad at keeping focus and all their shit breaks, yet they still post the show without editing.

-Podcast Beyond

-I would say GFW, but that died (Still good listens though)

-Out of The Game (The old GFW crew)

-A Life Well Wasted (Robert Ashley, a damn good experimental radio show that explores the world of gaming and the professional lives of gamers/gamemakers)
