Go to Settings, System Settings, and then System Information.

iPod changes the format of songs from MP3 so your PS3 probably doesn't recognize Apple's formatting, however your Hard drive has lots of space to build a library of tunes :)
Streaming files right from your PC is a good option. It'll sync with your itunes library too.

when I read my PC through the PS3, it doesnt read my iTunes music file unless I am suppose to enable some playback function since all the files in it are ACC format
