If your used to playing with the 360 controller then just use it as your main system. I would get only exclusive games for the PS3. That is what I do for the myself but in reverse. Both of those are good games that you are renting. I loved Infamous so much that I spent a whole month playing it.

I was always going to use the X360 as my main console, just too much time and not to mention money invested in it. Well as for the first game I'm playing, its going to be Uncharted since Gamefly just text me that they are shipping it out today. I think the first actual game purchase is going to be Batman: Arkham Asylum. I have it on reserve for the X360 but i'm changing it to the PS3 to get the Joker playable that is exclusive to the PS3. After that the two PS3 games I'll probably end up getting is Uncharted 2 (depending how much I enjoy the first one) and Demon Souls

Does the first Uncharted has trophies? I feel naked without at least one

You love anything that involves the PS3

I bet you also love Life with Playstation, whatever the heck that suppose to be.

Wow dude, i go in home cause i get to meet up with friends, talk for a bit and then create a game of warhawk, then go back to home play some bowling and stuff, i find the 360 controller to be horrible, do i hate the 360? no.

I only go in LWP like once in 2 months to see whats up....

Folding @ Home, as it used to be called, was kinda cool. Using the PS3 to do run protein folding for disease research (I think) for Stanford University.

LOL. Yeah, all of the PS3's attempts at addon apps etc have been very weak. Folding @ home is a cool concept but i have never done it. What's the point for me?

I think I'm the only one with a dust free PS3. Everyone else I know that has one you can draw pictures on it with the dust ahahha. I never clean mine, and I'm not a dusting fanatic. In fact, I can't remember the last time I actually said "wow I should dust", so I dunno why mine doesn't attract much.

that is weird unless you have some air filter. Because I notice when I have the AC on, things dont get as dusty. Though dust is mostly dead skin so maybe you are not human. Hmmmm?

Yeah I've played it and it's not big deal. GoW and GoW II are the the games of hack 'n slash. Uncharted's a good game, dude, consider it a good buy. And Life with PlayStation is one of the best add ons.

Games you should get:

  1. KZ 2.
  2. MGS4 (it's awesome and stop being so damn stubborn).

I have it and liked it but it is best to use gamefly with that game. You can beat it in a weekend but the last boss is a pain in the ass!!!! I hope you enjoy Uncharted because it is one of the best games to come out on the system. For the torphies you will have to update the game inorder to get them.

I can't seem him getting KZ2 because it is an outdoor shooter for the most part.

Bout time Sith, you ordered it like a month ago, next time don't go with economy shipping.  Heavenly Sword is freakin sweet IMO but take James' advise.  I know it might be tempting but don't wrap your PS3 in shrink wrap to stop the dust from forming cuz it's  hard to insert a disc in the slot when it's time for sexy time

Depends on how much you can get it for and exactly what you want to get out of it. The camera is nice for chat purposes or to make goofy vids with if you download the free EyeCreate program but currently not a lot of games utilize it for anything. I would just say hold off for now pending further details for the PS Motion device since I'm sure they'll be packing an PS Eye with that.

It's really casual, so it depends on how much you use it. But I consider it a waste of money and something to buy if you have no better games to play. I would buy inFAMOUS and Killzone 2 if I were you instead of this silly object. Hardcore for the win!!

I got the eye & used it for Burnout, Rainbow Six 2, LBP, chatted with 2 people & other things which can be read about on the Playboy blogs.  The eye also has a pretty good mic, which you don't need.  I was actually thinking about buying Eye of Judgement just so I could use it more.  It's also gonna be used for Eyepet, which for some reason I'm very interested in.  Maybe I'll even let the kids play with it, maybe.  But like Ian said, you should wait til you hear more about the motion device being that it might come with it & there's really nothing interesting you can do with the eye, unless you have a warpped imagination.  Hmmm, maybe you should get it.

I agree with JD, it's something that would be more useful for kids. And kids do not usually own PS3s unless their parents do, they usually own Wiis.

Or through Wi-Fi using the Media Servers, I think.

PS3 can see any media servers you have setup (and play content from them) and show your PC / Mac if it's on the same network by default, but your computer won't be able to see the files on the PS3. The PS3 heavily encrypts all of it's files and they are not visible to any OS. If you use a hard drive recovery program you can see the files, but due to encryption they mean nothing when you try to copy them.
