The first original Final Fantasy game finally makes it PS3/X360 debut not counting FF XI (X360) since it was more of a port and an online game. The box art has been revealed though whether or not there will be a different version for the NA market remains to be seen.

It's not bad but it isn't that great either lol. Sort of in the "meh" catagory.
They definitely could have done better. Then again, I really can't complain since it doesn't matter that much to me. If they are planning a limited edition then hopefully it will have a bit more flair to it.

Ya I'm waiting to hear about the collector's/limited edition too.
Really? They need a new cover designer.
I like it. It's nice and simple. But the 360 one has more leg so obviously that's the better version.

Ha, I was thinking that though it could just be Sony's values creeping through - that or their tiny box is coming back to haunt them...

Lmao. They can still tweak it before release
I wonder how much MS paid to see to that extra little bit of leg?
Lmao, they'll get exclusive DLC that has Lightning showing more leg too.
Famitsu gave the game a 39/40 score. High praise for its cut scenes and battle system though the game seemed a bit on the linear side
Generally speaking, the FF games have always been a little linear. I don't mind that - it's exactly the same in Dragon Age. The important point is that it's a terrific score, which could indicate greatness.

Be nice if they brought that outside Japan
I do love to read Japanese - I have no idea what it means - but it looks damn cool.

It's rather understated, but I quite like that in artwork. Less is often more. However, by the time the NA/EU release comes round some wise marketing guru will not doubt have changed it.
