A new expansion leaked on Eurogamer.cz called Dragon Age: Awakening. The expansion will feature a brand new character along with their own Origin Story. Also included will be new items and a new level cap, The new DLC will add approximately 15 hours of gameplay and is expected to be available in March 2010

Whilst the delayed PS3 release dropped my head a little the news of the next DLC sounds amazing - and 15 hours! By March I'm just be about to exit my Mass Effect 2 loop.
I wonder for console people if there will be a DVD to pick it up or will it be download only? They could also just make a GOTY Edition just like Fallout 3.

I hope you're right Sith but BioWare stated that the PS3 version would be released later on in the month. That was based on the Xbox version of DLC being released on time so I don't know if there will be a further delay or not for the PS3.

Can't wait for the expansion though I'm still waiting for the Return to Ostagar even though it's likely to only last a couple of hours.

I've had the game since X-mas, still on my first playthrough, but I'm taking my time and playing other games as well, I'm a somewhat casual gamer but there are games that came out 2 years ago that I wanted to play and still havent.
some may actually wait further into the year to get this game because i'm pretty there will be a GOTY version of the game coming out with the expansion pak and all the DLC included for the price of a regular version

That is what I am going to do with this game. I want to try it but I don't want to waste all that money on it. I would rather wait till they make a GOTY edition. Besides I have alot of games I want to get and play before this game.

Agreed, just wait for the GOTY Schumi - especially as DA:O will absorb a lot of your time. Better waiting for a little gap in your wanted list.
Dragon Age 2 already!? Pick up a copy of the expansion pak and inside is a place card with the image of a dragon with two wings spread out and the release date of Feb 01 2011. So is this the sequel to Dragon Age?

Maybe a huge expansion?
Bioware has yet to confirm it but Gamestop naturally leaked out that there will be a Dragon Age: Origins Ultimate Edition arriving on Oct 12th. The edition is presumed to include all of the DLC and the Awakening expansion pack for $60. Anyone missed out playing this and I highly recommend those you didnt to pick this up.
