Count me in, this game looks like the game for me, i usually like the more futaristic or modern shooters but this one is looking kick ass, the animation is one of the best ive seen if not the best, so when i get it ill join your Pasy or however you spell it.

Amazon just updated, if you pre-order this, instead of the original $10 gift card you get a $20 gift card!

And man I hated playing GTA online because of auto-aim, shit was so cheesy.....

That's nowhere near as bad as spawning in a "Gay Tony" game, only to have n00bs buzzard-mongering. Stick to "TLAD" games and it's effing great fun.

Even on my SDTV, I can see that the textures and lighting for "RD:R" are friggin excellent.

No offense, but in my opinion getting the WC game is a bad investment.

Well, it just does not offer what an original FIFA game normally does. Only tournament would be qualification and the WC, and you got only international teams. A standard FIFA game has a great variety of clubs from leagues all over the world, a variety of tournaments, ultimate team, and the most important international teams from all over the world.

I'm not trying to be annoying here, but I bet you will not be playing that game a year later, especially if you get FIFA 11.

Entirely disagree, theres just more to it than that, for example the online tournaments WC style is awesome, just tell Shaolin,Captain your country, overall WC presentation is great, great soundtrack, and play actual scenarios from this years world cup was a good purchase, and ill still pop this game years to come as it has been the best WC game ive played.Maybe not so much, but im satisfied with the game.

Moving on,i want RDR!

I don't know if any of you guys noticed this but people are selling the free DLC that came with the pre-orders on Ebay. This shit is just beyond ridiculous and especially the prices they are demanding for DLC that in all likely will probably be offered anyway to buy in the future.

If you order the game from Amazon.com, you can still the free $20 to spend on the site. I don't know how long the offer will remain, so move on!

I'm loving this game so far. It has so much things to do, that it isn't even funny. The story is pretty good and the combat isfun. I love the randomness of some of the events that happen to you in the game. What are your guys opinon of the game?

I'm loving it. It's hard to even do the story with all the stuff you can do. I mean I've spent a few hours playing the mini-games alone;Poker, Blackjack, etc. And I too really love the random events that you run across, so many ambushes lol. It really does feel like the wild west though.

MP is a lot of fun too, attacking gang hideouts and posse vs posse shootouts. It's so epic you start out with a donkey as your mount LOL.

It's nice to hear everybody is liking it, I'm probably getting my copy tomorrow. Please avoid any spoilers for those who still haven't got it.

By the way, can you gamble online?

I love the Poker. I wasted a few hours playing poker today lol. I don't think you can gamble online which is a shame. I would have loved to play some poker or blackjack with you guys through this game.

That's precisely why it's a shame.

I LOVE IT!

Here's my mini review while I eat dinner:

It's fun, the story is good but there's also lots else to do.

I have very short attention span, and going out there and hunting/gathering is pretty great. Watching birds explode in the sky is even better.

It can be glitchy at times. But I compare it to the glitchyness of fallout 3. With a game so large you can't expect everything to work perfectly. I've had to restart a few times (like my horse stuck clipping through a fence in the middle of a race), or I've had two random events occur at the same time in the same area, or two identical quest NPCs spawning ontop of eachother (sexy).

On that note, the random events are fun.  From cannibals to some dude being chased by wolves, or to being ambushed by bandits after being lured over by the cry of some lady asking for help. You never know what you'll happen upon just riding around randomly.

The story is pretty linear, but does split up a bit and you have a bunch of options of which quests to  do, and you generally have 3 or 4 main quests to do, along side all the random events and side quests.

Some of the in game tutorials suck balls (I was so confused and frustrated with how to duel I had to go look it up), and I'm generally not one to pay attention to in-game tutorials, but sometimes in this game its necessary.

All in all, it's a great game. I am VERY happy.

I just got grounded for some time. So even though I get the game, I'll have no PS3 to play it with.  I'll try to make this as short as possible to back into action.

The situation is that I'll have to do some forced changes my parents consider I need to do if I want to play RDR ASAFP.

It sucks, really.
