anyone ever done it or does it as a hobby? I was in the water with sharks for the first time yesterday, amazing experience. Even being in a cage, having a 10 foot shark staring you down less than a foot away from your face is exhilerating
Wow that does sound cool. That definately something I wouldn't mind doing at some point since it's a bit dull seeing sharks at the aquarium out of their natural habitat.
in florida, yeah it's great. they come right up to the cage and really stare you down, if i poked my finger out of the cage it would've been touching them. There were a few sawfish around too so those came up to say hi, those things were like 13 feet long. Most of the sharks were Sand Tigers, around 10 feet long, probably 400-600 pounds. Their teeth are one hell of a sight up close
