After a few subpar TGS conferences Sony seems to be bringing the goods this year with a keynote that promises to show more footage of exciting new titles like “The Last Guardian” along with several unannounced games. Besides the software goodness Sony is also set to blow the led off their motion device. It’s unclear to what extent Sony plans on showing the device but I do expect a few 1st games designed specifically for the device to make an appearance.

I've read some rumors that GT5 could be out this year. Granted they are rumors but recently Sony has been having some leak problems so I hope this is another true one lol. I won't be holding my breath for it but it would be epic.
With GT5 who the hell knows if it'll make this year. It could certainly well make it for a December release since things seem to be farther ahead than we thought but Polyphony are perfectionists and will take their time with the game.
I think perfectionists is an understatement lol. They are like the Blizzard of the console racing sim aka don't expect this game for a long ass time. Can't wait for Diablo 3 by 2015! But hopefully they will have some more news at TGS.

Haha yeah that's a perfect comparison. We'll definitely get some GT5 news from the show and today a new trailer was released and I'm just waiting for a good source to grab it from that doesn't have a damn watermark in the middle of the screen.
I just got my update from FerrariWorld. They have a GT5 tribute to the 458 Italia. Is this the same one your talking about?

Yup thats it. If Gametrailers doesn't post it soon I'll just go into GT5: Prologue and download it since the trailer is available on Gran Turismo TV.
Ah my bad Ian.
There is going to be a lot of comparing between the GT5 one and the Forza 3 videos lol. I've watched them both a few times now. The music for the GT5 video is very fitting.
I can't wait to hear more about Heavy Rain. The HD trailers are looking great.

Sony Vibrator!

I bet he's playing God of War 3 motion control beta. LOL
Get to ze choppa!
Lmao that gif is epic
idk, is it true that you have to fucking hold both the motion controller and the dualshock to play? cuz i saw that...i was like,,bahhh

With RE5: Alternate Edition you have to. For other games you may not need to but it's all up to the developers and whether they can come up with a good control solution. I think the lack of an analog stick or at least a nub may hurt the motion device in some respects since it limits control options and player have to do goofy crap like holding a DS3 to play a game like RE5.
If they make holding a fucking controller standard I will fly to japan and slap Kazuo Hirai and Jack Trenton in the face. What dumb asses if they think that will fly.
I'm holding a controller in my left hand right now as I type this with my right hand. It sucks. It's uncomfortable and awkward. Don't be stupid Sony
Ya in watching that video, I had to double take to see that he had a regular controller in his other hand. That would be helluva uncomfortable and awkward.....
I just think it's a matter of time before a 3rd party company releases another nunchuk type accessory for the PS3 or Sony itself designs one or perhaps the long fabled split apart controller which itself was an original PS1 controller concept along with appearing in some recent patents.
Good call Ian...I never thought I'd say this...but...
WE NEED YOU MAD CATZ!!!
Logitech ftw!
unless Nintendo cries patent violation
Good call Sith. Thats actually a very possible reason we may not see Sony making their own one hand joystick add on. Nintendo might have some very firm patents on that.
I think if Sony were to literally release a controller that is exactly like the Nunchuk then there could be a few problems but I don't see why they couldn't release a controller that simply splits apart. If they couldn't do that then I don't think they would've even bothered doing those patents awhile back ago.
I also haven't heard any news about Nintendo going after 3rd party companies that produce products like this so I think we'll definitely see some sort of quasi nunchuk peripheral released at some point to use with the PS3 motion device.

The keynote should be interesting. And that is an impressive lineup of games!Excited to hear about The Last Guardian and those unannounced games.God of War,Heavy Rain, and GT 5 are also ones im excited to see..
