Devil May Cry HD Collection Trailer Delivers The Goods

The Devil May Cry reboot/alternate universe in a world of emo action may still be disappointing to a degree, but the greatness is indeed returning thanks to the Devil May Cry HD Collection.  Finally announced by Capcom a few weeks ago, the HD collection will see the first three DMC games re-released in HD with a few yet to be announced bonus features.  Capcom was nice enough to show some comparison pics detailing the HD level upgrade the classic DMC games were receiving but now we can see such improvements in the first trailer for the collection.

Ninja Theory Reveals Why Things Are So Different In Devil May Cry

Over the past year Capcom and Ninja Theory’s Devil May Cry reboot has gained a lot of negativity from gamers who are less than thrilled with the direction the game is taking.  We’ve barely scratched the service of what DmC will offer, but the major design and tonal shift the game has undergone has resulted in the many legions of DMC fans crying foul and wishing they could firebomb the offices of Ninja Theory.

Capcom Prepping Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City Beta

Gamers looking to get their hands on Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City will be able to do so since the game will receive a beta.  Announced during Capcom’s press event in which they showed off their key titles for the first half of 2012, the Operation Raccoon City beta will launch sometime in early 2012, presumably before March and the March 20 release date of the game.

Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City Returns To The Spotlight With New Screens And A Trailer

On the heels of announcing the March 20, 2012 release date for Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City Capcom has released some new media for the game.  Serving as our first proper look since it was unveiled earlier this year we have a new story centric trailer showing off some new locales and some screenshots with a few familiar faces.

Capcom Preps PS3 Port Of Resident Evil Wii Games

HD remakes are the rage these days and since the PlayStation Move’s key usage is as a pointer in light gun games we’re receiving the Resident Evil Chronicles HD.  Comprising of HD remakes of both former Wii exclusive Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicles and Resident Evil: Darkside Chronicles, the RE Chronicles HD will bow on the PS3 with you guess it – support for the PlayStation Move.

Capcom Sets Release Date For Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City

To celebrate the always festive occasion that is Halloween, which has actually turned into a rather depressing weekend for me, Capcom has announced some goodness for Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City.  The first major RE spin-off Capcom has done in some time, Operation Raccoon City has been received a fair amount of both hype and scrutiny ever since it was announced earlier this year.

Latest Trailer For Steel Battalion: Heavy Armor Shows A Bit Of Action

Mech games are somewhat of a dying breed these days but Capcom and From Software are perhaps giving us our last hope with Steel Battalion: Heavy Armor for the Xbox 360. The Kinect centric game managed to raise some eyebrows earlier this year with a rather emotional trailer and gameplay that combines both the Kinect and a regular Xbox 360 controller.

First Image Of Leon From Resident Evil: Retribution

Maybe it’s just me, but I’m really excited for the fifth Resident Evil movie, Resident Evil: Retribution.  Everyone knows I can be a harsh critic sometimes but the last RE flick, Resident Evil: Afterlife, was just the perfect mix of action silliness, 3D gimmicks, and RE goodness to keep me entertained for two hours without any major gripes. In a way the stakes are higher for RE: Retribution since it has so much to live up to but with characters like Leon S. Kennedy and Barry “red beard for life” Burton joining the fray I’m sure we’re going to get something mildly entertaining.

Devil May Cry HD Collection Is Finally Happening

Capcom’s sudden reboot of the Devil May Cry franchise may still be a lost cause to those who have been with Dante since the start, but it has brought us one good thing: a DMC HD collection.  Rumored for the past few months, Capcom has finally revealed that Dante’s old exploits, both good and bad, will be available to PS3 and Xbox 360 gamers in glorious HD.

Ada Wong Has Finally Been Cast In Resident Evil: Retribution

With principle photography kicking off this week on Resident Evil: Retribution, the cast for the film has officially been locked down. Previously we received confirmation that actor Johann Urb would be portraying Leon S. Kennedy and well-known character actor Kevin Durand would be playing fan-favorite Barry Burton.  The only remaining role was that of the mysterious double-crosser/sometimes ally Ada Wong.
