Wii U Burger King Toys Revealed - Disappointment Incoming

Most video-game cross-over/tie-in promotions tend to result in utter disappointment and that is certainly true of Burger King’s promotion of the Wii U.  If you recall it was revealed, albeit in a stealth like fashion, that the home of the Whopper would receive a slew of toys connected to the Wii U.

Angry Birds Star Wars Is Officially A Thing

Our worst fears have come true as Angry Birds Star Wars is an actual thing.  After being teased last Friday with a near horrifying image of an Angry Bird character dressed as a Jedi Knight, LucasArts and Rovio have announced their partnership which does indeed span video games, toys, and even Halloween costumes.

Wii U Toys Inbound From Burger King

The official public hype cycle of the Wii U amongst the mainstream public could begin shortly in a somewhat conventional but still unexpected way.  With a release date and prices now set, Nintendo will assuredly begin to roll out Wii U advertising through adverts that show how the console is fun for the whole family, or at least a perfect family as envisioned by a marketing firm.  Besides the regular media blitz that Nintendo will activate for the Wii U, some additional hype may originate from a fast food giant.

An Epic Statue Is Being Made Based On A Famous Mortal Kombat Character

Mortal Kombat fans are in for a special treat as one of the more iconic boss characters is being given the high-end statue treatment.  Syco Collectibles, the current firm doing all the MK statues, has revealed the first prototype images of their Motaro statue, which I assume will end up being mighty imposing given the character is a freaking Centaur with a skull necklace.

An Early Glimpse At The First Metal Gear Rising Play Arts Kai Figure

Metal Gear Solid fans are now in a good period if they just so happen to be toy collectors since the franchise has gotten a major push in the merchandise front in the last two years.  Originally MGS has always had cool product representation such as the original action figure lines done by McFarlane Toys, but now that Konami has teamed up with Square Enix to produce figures we’re in a golden era of sorts.

First Minecraft Lego Set Is Revealed And It's Simply Ok

This has to be one of the quickest turnarounds I’ve seen for a major piece of video game merchandise as today Lego has unveiled the first set based on the ever popular Minecraft series.  Late last year Mojang revealed they were in talks with Lego about possibly producing a Minecraft line of products and subsequently such a thing was confirmed.

Metal Gear Solid Cyborg Ninja Figure Is Revealed And It Looks Amazing

I may already have too many video game related products as it stands now, but I’ll likely be adding a few more items to my collection in the near future – one of which will be this exquisite Cyborg Ninja figure.  Today Hideo Kojima took to his Twitter account to do something somewhat rare: he made a Twitter reveal that wasn’t wrapped in a bundle of secrecy that was also serving as an epic teaser.
