Liberation Maiden Arrives On PS3 In Unlikely Form

First premiering on the Nintendo 3DS and then making its way to the iOS platform, Grasshopper Manufacture’s anime shoot-em-up title Liberation Maiden is finally coming to the PS3.  The debut of Liberation Maiden may sound like good news, but the game is ditching the twitch shooting action in favor of something a tad bit different – that of an adventure.

Street Fighter: Assassin's Fist Launches Kickstarter Campaign, Announces Cast Members

The Street Fighter franchise is finally poised to make a comeback in the world of cinema after a long and rather depressing history.  As you may recall, last Summer we received the rather exciting news that Capcom had given the team behind the short film Street Fighter: Legacy the ok to move forward with a full-on series.  Dubbed Street Fighter: Assassin’s Fist, the series is still moving forward but now it needs a little help from the gaming community via Kickstar

Criterion Reportedly Not Doing NFS: Underground Remake

Rumors of another reboot in the Need for Speed franchise have now been debunked by Criterion Games Creative Director Alex Ward.  Originating from EGM, rumor had it that a reboot of NFS: Underground was in the works.

The rumor itself seemed plausible given the previous NFS reboots that have been released in recent years and reportedly jived with tidbits EGM had heard about such a thing. Though now it seems like the rumor is nothing but bunk.

Disney may have absolutely no plans to push the Star Wars video game franchise in the way we want, yet the company is still giving it a shot when it comes to all things that fall under the magical kingdom.  Earlier this year we saw Disney enter the video game arena once more with perhaps their most ambitious effort: Disney Infinity.
