Brand new No More Heroes 2 details

Ever since its announcement trailer last year many have wondered what No More Heroes 2: Desperate Struggle would be about.  There was the small matter of how the sequel would be possible since the true ending of the game alluded to Travis and his brother Henry taking one another out in an epic battle on the streets of Santa Destroy.

Gory Gladiator combat game headed to the Wii. But will it deliver?

Gladiator A.D., is a gory gladiatorial fighting game described by designer David Pellas as "a hybrid between 3D Fighting games like Bushido Blade and Boxing games like Fight Night."

Players will do battle in an arena setting against one or multiple combatants, depending on the mode of play. You will also be able to choose from different gladiators who wield various types of weaponry.

North America will be getting a spooky treat this October when publisher XSEED will be releasing a spin off game based on Ju-On (AKA the Grudge). The game is being created with the help of films original creator Takashi Shimizu. Also, Feelplus (the studio behind Lost Odyssey X360 and Blue Dragon Plus on the DS), is developing the title.

The Wii is having quite a year so far with a bevy of interesting 3rd party games like Sega’s Madworld, the upcoming Indiana Jones game and the recently announced North American release of Capcom’s Tatsunoko vs. Capcom. Things are of course going to get better for Wii owners with E3 being less than 2 weeks away and there's bound to be a quite a few unannounced heavy hitting games, both on the first and third party fronts.

The latest Kojima teaser continues to get people excited

The madness around the mysterious Kojima project countdown is continuing with the previous countdown being merely a countdown for another countdown. Rapid internet fanboys are ablaze with the latest update to the site being either a 5 or an S and off course the popular and somewhat blind decision among many is that it’s a 5 and that means “OMG MGS5 is coming soon!” It’s also a bit presumptuous to assume the S could also stand for Solid Snake as it could also be for this:

Tatsunoko vs. Capcom heading to North America

2009 seems to be a good year for Capcom fighting fans with the release of Street Fighter 4 earlier this year and then the announcement that Marvel vs. Capcom 2 would be coming out this summer for the PS3 and Xbox 360. Well it seems like fighting fans have gotten the cherry atop the sundae with the announcement that Tatsunoko vs. Capcom will be heading to North America.

Star Wars Battlefront 3 won't be appearing on PS3/360

Late last year it was announced that the long rumored Star Wars Battlefront 3 that was being developed by Free Radical was being cancelled by LucasArts for unknown reasons. Later it was believed that developer Rebellion, who was responsible for the last PSP installment of Battlefront, would be taking over development duties but it wasn’t clear if they were be picking up from where Free Radical left off or starting from scratch.
