Halo: Forward Unto Dawn Comes To A Close In Episode 5

For the past four weeks we’ve been treated to something that has been totally surprising: a live-action representation of Halo that is actually good.  However loyal the legions of Halo fans may be there was no doubt some skepticism about the quality of the first live-action endeavor, even if series shepherd 343 Industries was over seeing everything.  Things may have started off a little slow, but Halo: Forward Unto Dawn has proven itself as an entertaining effort and that certainly rings true of the finale episode.

Halo: Forward Unto Dawn Episode 4 Is Now Available

At long last the intense sci-fi action the Halo series is known to provide is present in Forward Unto Dawn. After the shocking turn of events in episode 3 which could’ve used a Drowning Pool song as background/end credits music, the latest episode of Forward Unto Dawn picks up and officially puts the action in overdrive mode.

Halo: Forward Unto Dawn Episode 3 Is Now Available

If you have been wanting Halo: Forward Unto Dawn to pick up some steam in a sense and go balls to the wall with action then you’re bound to be happy today.  Episode three of Halo: Forward Unto Dawn has been released today and as expected it picks up from the climatic end of episode 2, but from there it goes into full-on action mode that will likely have the hearts of the Halo nation in complete flutter mode.

Halo: Forward Unto Dawn Episode 2 Is Now Available

It’s time yet again to see some live-action sci-fi goodness thanks to episode 2 of Halo: Forward Unto Dawn.  At times a series may have a few dips here and there, even Mortal Kombat: Legacy suffered such a thing, but things are held together rather nicely in the second episode of the new Halo series.

Gears of War Movie Being Shopped Around Hollywood Again

Most of the time when a video game is going the film route and hits a wall during production it’s usually stalled for good.  Sure, there are some rare exceptions at times such as the Doom movie lingering in development for nearly a decade before it finally hit theaters, but even when a video game movie has attached star power, such as Bruce Willis and Jamie Foxx in Kane & Lynch, production can be shuttered for good.

In case you’re a Halo or video game fan that has been busy building their end of society cabin in the woods, Halo: Forward Unto Dawn is a brand new web series that delves into a new area of the Halo lore while still providing us with the elements the series is best known for.

Hopeful Wishing Time: Microsoft Reportedly Renews Killer Instinct Trademarks

A true megaton could be upon us based on the latest trademark registration Microsoft has made. Either that or we’re in for a true disappointment of such epic proportions that gamers could enter such a zone of jadedness that their souls are forever imprisoned within the Phantom Zone.  The Microsoft acquisition of Rare has proven to be a bust based on what has transpired in the last five years, but one of the flagship properties of the company may return: Killer Instinct.

Metal Gear Rising Hands-on [PAX Prime 2012]

I’ve said, since I got my Sonic Team logo tattoo, that if I hadn’t gone with Sonic for permanent ink/nerd-cred I would have paid respect to Kojima-san by getting a Foxhound tattoo. So when Metal Gear Rising was first shown, I found myself a little leery, to say the least, at the concept of breaking the entire Metal Gear/tactical espionage genre being cast to the way-side in favor of a ridiculous, over-the-top action/adventure title.

Injustice: Gods Among Us Hands-on [PAX Prime 2012]

I have a fair few passions in life, video games, music, movies, TV and the like… but two of the front-runners that have shaped my experiences throughout my life are that of fighting games and comic books. That’s why, since its announcement, I have been keeping a very close eye on Injustice: Gods Among Us, and why I made a special point to swing by the WB Games booth as soon as humanly possible to check out what’s next from NetherRealm.
