Microsoft and Bungie Offering 3 Ways To Get Your Hands On Halo: Reach.

According to a leaked Best Buy circular ad, Microsoft intends to offer Halo fans three different opportunities to pre-order Halo: Reach starting this Sunday.

Naturally you can expect the standard retail version for $60 which will just come with the game itself and maybe some cool Microsoft merchandise propaganda inserts as well.

Extra! Extra! New DLC Bonanza Headed Your Way!

Starting tomorrow, Battlefield Bad Company 2 fans can download the exclusive “Kit Upgrade Pack” on Xbox Live. The opportunity to download the new DLC will only be available for the Xbox 360 version, whereas the PS3 and PC version has no release window announced yet. The DLC exclusive can only be obtained through a Dr. Pepper and EA free DLC promotion.  This promotion previously offered free DLC for games like Mass Effect 2 and Sims 3. 

Capcom Announces Resident Evil 5 Art Book

Capcom is releasing “The Art of Resident Evil 5,” a 200+ page art book published by Udon Entertainment. The terrifying publication will feature 3D models, storyboards, concept art, character designs, and environment designs; of which some will include never before seen designs and promotional art. Most of the artwork will have artists’ notes detailing the creative progress that went into the process of creating the visual nightmares of Resident Evil 5. 

Splinter Cell: Conviction CE USB Contents Available for Download

The Splinter Cell: Conviction Collector’s Edition included a custom USB drive chock full of extras, but Ubisoft revealed shortly before game release that most of shipped USB drives were faulty. Ubisoft responded to this announcement by dropping the price of the Collector’s Edition by $10. Now Ubisoft has decided to make the contents of the USB drive available to download to all, for free. Like other popular video game franchises such as Halo and Resident Evil, Dead Space is getting the literary treatment. Today Electronic Arts and Tor Books announced Dead Space: Martyr, a new novel that serves as an extension of the Dead Space franchise.
