Spec Ops: The Line Developers Prep New Game, Tease Announcement Soon

The team behind the daring and rather intense action/drama Spec Ops: The Line are on the cusp of announcing their next project.  We’ve already known that Yager have been working on something once Spec Ops finally arrived at retail last Summer, but now we have a few more details on the project and a tease of things to come.

A Small But Interesting Update On Konami's Contra Reboot

Games come and go, but there are a few which are announced only to forever fade away from our memories.  One game that may have been forgotten about despite it’s stature within the hierarchy of classic video games was the Contra reboot from Konami.  If you recall, back at E3 2011 Konami released a very short teaser for a new Contra game.

Spec Ops: The Line Developer Moving On To New Project

These days it can be game over for a developer almost immediately if a project doesn’t pick up tremendously and manage to sell five hundred thousand units or more. Even then the sheer budget of a game may be so much that a profit isn’t made on either the end of the publisher or developer which can result in bonuses not being handed out or massive cuts needed to be made.

New Spec Ops: The Line Trailer Has More Gritty War Action

War is hell and this new trailer for Spec Ops: The Line shows us that while finally channeling a mood similar to Apocalypse Now with a small dash of EXTREME blow-em up modern warfare gameplay.  It still surprises me that not a lot of hype has been raised for Spec Ops: The Line but at this point I guess all 2K Games can do is cross their fingers and hope for the best seeing as how the game is finally coming out on the PS3, Xbox 360, and PC in late June.

Spec Ops: The Line Trailer Features Lots Of Action and Sand

I had originally meant to post this yesterday, but given the hassle of moving into a new apartment and having limited internet access I apologize in my delay in doing a write up for this new Spec Ops: The Line trailer. At this point I don’t find myself doing too many posts about trailers, unless they’re god tier quality, but I did find this trailer to be a bit more cohesive than the slightly abstract ones we’ve received in the past and in general it seems like the gaming populace has no clue that this game is coming out.

Another look at Spec Ops: The Line

One of the biggest surprises at the Spike VGA’s last month was the reveal of 2K’s new action game Spec Ops: The Line. From the amazing location of a decimated Dubai to the background music being a Bjork song Spec Ops immediately became a game that many are keeping a close eye on.
