Ermac's New Fatality Leaves the Internet Gutted

Mortal Kombat's history is one built on controversy. At the very dawn of violent video games, it was hassled by all kinds of concerned parties for its use of blood, violence, and inclusion of features like the Fatalities. Of course, we've come a long way since then. Games these days are far, far worse than what we were so concerned about back then... so Mortal Kombat itself needs to keep upping the ante.

Mad Max vs. Metal Gear Solid V on September 1st!

Today seems all about the head-to-head! Not only did Unity fire back at Unreal going free today, but it looks like both Mad Max and Metal Gear are looking to stake a claim on September the first!

Dying Light [Review]

Overall Feeling:

Dying Light is a natural evolution of the first-person zombie-survival genre that Techland created with 2011's Dead Island. It will remain, for the foreseeable future, as the best argument for a developer ditching the chains of an established franchise and trying something new (even if it is in the same realm/genre).

The Pros:

+Smooth Gameplay
+Impressive Graphics
+Intelligent Advancement of the Genre
+Slick Movement and Game Mechanics

The Cons:

-"Unique" Controls Serve Only to Confuse

However, the prospect of surviving a zombie outbreak in the first-person, building and maintaining your own catalogue of weapons, and being able to bash zombie-brains with a friend or three ended up being one of the more enjoyable experiences I had in 2011.

We heard speculation of new Batman: Arkham City downloadable content earlier this month when Trophies were added to the games list. Not only did we get confirmation of the DLC today, but also the announcement of the Game of the Year Edition.

Harley Quinn’s Revenge will be the final chapter in Arkham City, adding two hours of fresh gameplay to the title. The DLC will plunge players back in the prison island, where they will interchange between Batman and Robin. Poor Harley!

The Western Publisher Of Lollipop Chainsaw Is Finally Revealed

It may be easy to peg those who are interested in Lollipop Chainsaw as complete creeps, but I like to think people who are looking forward to the new game from Grasshopper Manufacture are simply ahead of the curve.  Finally announced two weeks ago after months of speculation, Lollipop Chainsaw defied all expectation we had for the game as it features an 18 year-old girl in High School battling zombies while wearing a skimpy cheerleading outfit.  To mak
