Unity 5 Joins Unreal Engine 4 in Being Free

Yesterday Unreal announced that they were making their fourth iteration of the toolset (Unreal Engine 4) free. These both came as both a surprise and great news for the development community. However, Unity (arguably Unreal's biggest competition these days) wasn't far behind.

Unfortunate it didn't include Jen because she's out sick today, but we did get to play some SpeedRunners, which is awesome in of itself. The software line-up of the PlayStation 4 has just expanded thanks to the reveal of two new titles slated to arrive on Sony’s next-gen console.  Despite both games being FPS titles, gamers and those looking for something new to play on their shiny, and likely expensive, PS4 ought to enjoy these newfound options.

Spec Ops: The Line Developers Prep New Game, Tease Announcement Soon

The team behind the daring and rather intense action/drama Spec Ops: The Line are on the cusp of announcing their next project.  We’ve already known that Yager have been working on something once Spec Ops finally arrived at retail last Summer, but now we have a few more details on the project and a tease of things to come.
