God of War Movie Still Happening, Gets New Writing Team

It seemed like it was only yesterday that I was thinking of how amazing a film based on God of War could be.  The cinematic action of the GOW series would make for a perfect Hollywood blockbuster if it were in the rights hands and had a talented cast to portray characters such as Kratos, Zeus, and Aries.

Telltale Games Issues A Somewhat Disappointing Update Concerning The Jurassic Park Game

I think a good portion of gamers may not have known this, but the first installment of Telltale Games' Jurassic Park game was set to drop this month on the PC. But as is often the case in the wild jungle that is video game development, unexpected things came up and additional time is needed to polish things, thus Telltale Games has delayed Jurassic Park’s debut on the PC.

New Jurassic Park: The Game BTS Video Offers Insight On The Project and Shows Lots Of Dinosaurs

Next month we’re going to receive something we’ve been wanting for a long time: a new Jurassic Park game is going to be bestowed upon us. It almost seems absurd that there’s not more hype going on for the first installment of Telltale Games’ Jurassic Park game but yeah, next month we’re getting a FREAKING JURASSIC PARK VIDEO GAME!! That alone should have gamers, young and old, going into raptor Jesus mode since the Jurassic Park franchise is still one that holds weight today and seeing a video game that features dinosaurs is a rarity these days.

Universal Looking To Relaunch The Doom Movie Franchise

For some reason the film industry in Hollywood likes to do two things: either run franchises into the ground or do things that are simply unnecessary.  Yeah, we can certainly get some quality films out of Hollywood every now and then like The Matrix or District-9, but on the flipside we get trash like Drive Angry 3D.  Sadly despite the results in the past, Hollywood is still entrenched in its love affair with video games, which is why we could see the Doom franchise be resurrected, much against our wishes.

Telltale Games Wanted To Do A Scott Pilgrim Game But...

Video game developer Telltale Games has kept themselves rather busy as of late tackling high profile projects like Back to the Future: The Game, Jurassic Park: The Game and most recently the announcement of their game adaptation of the comic book/TV show The Walking Dead.  But amongst Telltale’s stable of games based on licensed properties, the co

Telltale Games Debuts The First Trailer For Jurassic Park: The Game

You give gamers anything that has dinosaurs in it and you’re guaranteed to get an audience of some sort, even if it starts out as a small one.  But if you give gamers and the mainstream audience in general a game with dinosaurs that just so happens to be based on the Jurassic Park franchise I think you may have an epic hit on your hands.  After sharing some details with us last month, developer Telltale Games has finally released the first in-game trailer for their upcomi

Back To The Future: The Game - Episode 2 Trailer Has Lots of Tannen Action

Yesterday was a special day for PS3 owners as they were finally able to experience episode 1 of Back to the Future: The Game.  PC and Mac owners have been lucky enough to play the BTTF game for the past two months but now those who prefer the comfort of a PS3 controller to that of a mouse and keyboard can have themselves a fun time travelling experience as Marty McFly.

Film Adaptation Of BioShock Seems Unlikely To Happen Now

BioShock may be one of the most popular and successful video game franchises to be released in the past five years, but in the world of Hollywood things aren’t looking too good as of now.  Like what usually happens with most hot video game properties, the film rights for BioShock were acquired once they were made available.  Out of the studios in Hollywood, Universal won the bidding war and began to actively develop a live-action adaptation of the hit video game series.  Usually such things are met with groans and outcry from the video game audience, but when Gore Verbinski (

Back to the Future: The Game Finally Lands On The PSN This Month

For the past two months PC gamers have been lucky enough to enjoy the nostalgia filled adventure that is Back to the Future: The Game.  Developer Telltale Games may have only released the first episode of their BTTF game, but the reactions from gamers have all been positive and we actually have a movie licensed video game that isn’t a complete mess.

Some images of Telltale Games' Jurassic Park game have finally emerged

Last weekend the internet blew up when the first details on Telltale Games’ upcoming Jurassic Park game finally surfaced.  Even though the Jurassic Park game wasn’t going to feature laser strapped dinosaurs or a highly intelligent breed of dinos who were commandos (like the JP4 script) the game still sounded really interesting.
