Originally set to coincide with the release of the game, the film adaptation of Midway/Ubisoft's “Wheelman” is finally becoming a reality.

Red Steel 2 premier trailer fails to impress

The recent issue of Nintendo Power magazine features the follow-up to the highly successful but critically slammed Red Steel franchise. It seems like Red Steel 2 is a reboot of the franchise as it has ditched the streets of modern day Japan for a futuristic setting that seems like its one part Mad Max and one part Takashi Miike.  The player now assumes the role of a sword wielding gun toting cowboy who is of course is on some quest for revenge and other such cliché story elements.

New Assassin's Creed 2 details from Game Informer

The latest issue of Game Informer magazine has hit subscribers and the coverstory is the exclusive first look at Ubisoft's upcoming Assassin's Creed 2. While it's typical for a sequel to a hit game to include new features and improved mechanics it seems that the massive 240 member development team is filling AC2 to the brim with new features that should definately makes fans happy.

[UPDATED 2] The Assassins Creed 2 Viral Campaign Begins

This morning what appears to be the first viral marketing for Assassins Creed 2 was seen on The ad came in the form of banner advertisements, which linked to the AC2 website, changed from the AC logo to Da Vinci’s Vitruvian Man. The ad also mentioned the Animus which in case you forgot was the machine that was used to read the ancestral memories of the hero in the first Assassins Creed.
