A New Old Republic Update is on the way

Some big news coming out of the Star Wars: The Old Republic Guild Summit today, with the announcement of the 1.2 Legacy update.

Star Wars: The Old Republic: The Drama Continues

Well, it looks like Star Wars: The Old Republic and BioWare are not quite out of the woods as far as drama goes quite yet. Following right on the heels of yesterday’s talks about bans for gaming the game’s high-end levels to the tune of gold-farming, today there was a bit of a debacle regarding dancing, immortality, and, of course, more bans!

As someone that’s developed a personal interest in the world of Star Wars: The Old Republic, BioWare’s stab at the WoW marketplace and reinvention of the concept of what MMORPG means for the Star Wars Universe, the news today that a number of its members are getting banned for gold farming and some lesser crimes is one that happened to have piqued my interest.

Well everyone 2011 is here which means new games are right around the corner. I know some of the good ones are already out. Dead Space 2, Mass Effect 2 for the PS3, LittlebigPlanet 2, so on and so much to talk about! But there are still so many more games to look forward to this year we thought it would be good for, not just us, but you too, if we wrote a most anticipated article for you to read. I mean why not this year is going to be a great year for games! Hell it sure can be worse than last years three good games we got.
