Deus Ex: Human Revolution Trailer Profiles Adam Jensen

Anyone that checked out the “most anticipated game of 2011” article posted by a while back will probably already be aware that I’m pretty excited for the release of Deus Ex: Human Revolution. Anytime there’s new information, images or video you can safely assume that I’ll be all over it. With that in mind, Square Enix was nice enough to provide us with all of the above today as we received new images and a new video.

Square Enix Secures Some TV Talent For The 3rd Birthday (Parasite Eve 3)

I haven’t been able to closely follow The 3rd Birthday as much as I would like (that’s the life of a busy blogger for you) but I’m surprised there hasn’t been more talk about the game within the core gamer circles.  A sequel to the PS1 cult hit Parasite Eve, one would think that a new Square Enix action-RPG for the PSP would get a nice amount of interest but that doesn’t seem to be the case.  It almost seems like The 3rd Birthday has gotten more hype regarding how its protagonist Aya Brea can wear torn clothing as she receives more damage during combat.

A few additional tidbits on Final Fantasy vs. XIII

The progress or at least info that has been shared concerning Final Fantasy vs.

Final Fantasy XIII-2 teaser trailer released

The Final Fantasy series is a franchise that is very near and dear to my heart. I remember when I was a kid putting FF7 into my PlayStation and thinking, "the graphics will never get better than this!" Then FF10 came out and the long exaggerated story was worth the fantastic ending of a boy finally realizing the sacrifices a man most make. It was a story of loss of innocence and it was badass! Then FF11 came onto the PS2 and for the first time I finally made the level cap on a MMO.

Square Enix registers new video game name which is painfully bad

Square Enix may have just reached the bottom of the barrel when it comes to uncompelling video game titles based on their latest trademark registrations.  Typically Square Enix always goes off the deep end a bit with some of their titles (what the hell at Kingdom Hearts: Dream Drop Distance and KH: 358/2 Days) but now it almost seems like the creative muscle at SE aren’t even trying to make a single lick of sense.

Is this our first look at the next Kingdom Hearts game? [RUMOR]

One of the staples of the Kingdom Hearts series has been to give gamers a tease of the next entry in the form of a brief teaser trailer.  At the end of KH1 we got a short teaser depicting characters clad in black hoods while KH2 gave us the bonus vid depicting some armored clad warriors engaging in battle.  The subsequent Kingdom Hearts spin-off games have continued this bonus video tradition and today we have what could be our first tease of the next Kingdom Hearts game.

A Final Fantasy XIII spin-off/sequel may actually be in the works

With the Square Enix 1st Production Department conference slated for next week, we could be in for a doozy as the speculated Final Fantasy XIII sequel/spin-off may actually be happening.

Square Enix and Sony team up for a beautiful Final Fantasy Dissidia themed PSP

If there one thing that Sony has done an excellent job of this gen it’s that they know when and how to give us really cool custom PSP and PlayStation 3 units.  Not all of us are going to go out and buy a 2nd PSP or PS3 merely because it has a cool art scheme on it (well I may do such a thing), but at least Sony is offering such a thing for the fans out there who wish to expand their collection.

Tomb Raider Trilogy gets a release date and price. Classic TR fans rejoice

Late last month we got word of a Tomb Raider collection that would be hitting the PS3 and today we have the first info on the returning adventures of Ms. Lara Croft.  As was revealed in last month’s leak, the Tomb Raider Trilogy will be hitting the PS3 and will include Tomb Raider Legend, Tomb Raider Anniversary and Tomb Raider Underworld.  Both Tomb Raider Legend and Tomb Raider Anniversary will be remastered in HD as both games appeared on the PS2 back in the day.
