Ratchet & Clank: All 4 One

Ratchet & Clank: All 4 One Is Filled With Epic Bosses, Tiny Critters and Snarky Robots [Video]

It’s odd to imagine that a new Ratchet & Clank game is coming out next month but such a thing is actually happening.  We may have last seen Ratchet & Clank two years ago in the rather terrific R&C: A Crack in Time but now the duo are back with a few friends and enemies in tow with the multiplayer centric Ratchet & Clank: All 4 One.

Ratchet & Clank: All 4 One Switches To A Different Perspective In This Gameplay Video

As a longtime fan of the Ratchet & Clank series I had a nice amount of interest for Ratchet & Clank: All 4 One, the latest installment in the franchise which is somewhat of a spin-off from the main R&C Future series.  Over the years our favorite Lombax and robot may have made regular appearances on the PS3 and PSP, perhaps to the point of annoyance amongst some, but it was cool to see Insomniac Games and their new North Carolina studio bring some multiplayer action to the R&C franchise.

The Weapons Of Ratchet & Clank: All 4 One Are On Display In This New Video

Going strong for nearly a decade, the Ratchet & Clank series is known for a few key things but the most well-known trait about the game is that you can blow stuff up.  Obviously gamers have an affinity for R&C because the games often look gorgeous and have some nice platforming sections but gamers also enjoy how they can often destroy things in a variety of ways with the many weapons that are created by Insomniac Games.

The PlayStation Goodness Will Be Plentiful At The San Diego Comic Con

Back in the day the San Diego Comic Con used to be an event that primarily focused on comic books with the occasional appearance by a high-profile movie, which in some cases was based on a comic book. But these days the San Diego Comic Con has grown to become a huge pop culture/geek heaven mega-event that includes panels for a ton of TV shows, genre films and of course video games.

Ratchet & Clank: All 4 One - Hands-On [E3 2011]

At this point it’s almost standard practice to see a new Ratchet & Clank game pop up, even if we may not immediately want one.  The fan reaction to the PS3 generation of R&C games has been a bit mixed with some people absolutely loving the direction the series has taken while others wished the franchise would just go to some distant planet and retire.

The Adventures Of Ratchet & Clank Will Continue This October With R&C: All 4 One

The Ratchet & Clank series has always been one that I’ve held close to my heart.  A good old fashioned platforming game is something I always enjoy and the R&C series has always brought it in providing a thoroughly enjoyable experience that also has the added bonus points of looking mighty nice visually and having enough firepower to make Ted Nugent proud.

Ratchet & Clank: All 4 One Video/Screens Are Filled with Co-Op Platforming Action

Last August Insomniac Games surprised us all with the announcement of Ratchet & Clank: All 4 One, the fourth entry in the R&C series on the PS3.  Over the years the Ratchet & Clank franchise has maintained its popularity and each installment has been good, but some gamers couldn’t help but wonder if the latest R&C game was perhaps too much too soon. I’m a self-professed R&C fan and despite enjoying the premier trailer for All 4 One I also couldn’t help but wonder if the R&C series needed a break.

Versus: Jak and Daxter vs. Ratchet and Clank

Well today I came up with a sort of cartoonish, but still awesome, match for you guys. This week's matchup is Ratchet and Clank vs. Jak and Daxter. This fight should be a good one. With both iconic Playstation duos possessing a vast armory on them at all times the fight should be filled with explosions, beat downs, and even a few Michael Jackson dance moves brought to you by Jak and Daxter. Both have been Video Game Icons for well over a decade now and with Sony's Heroes on the Move coming out this year this dream showdown may actually come true.

New Resistance 3 and Ratchet & Clank: All 4 One Footage To Premier Tonight [Tease Inside]

Despite receiving 2nd degree burns after playing the somewhat mediocre experience that was Resistance 2, PS3 gamers across the globe are excited for Resistance 3. Possibly the last Resistance game we could get for a while, Res 3 is slowly making its way atop the “Most Anticipated PS3 Games” list for 2011 since it’s such a major improvement over Resistance 2 that it’s hard not to be impressed, even if you’re not fond of the franchise.

Ratchet & Clank: All 4 One developer walkthrough looks beautiful and fun [Video]

After three games this generation the Ratchet & Clank franchise is changing things up a bit for its fourth installment, Ratchet & Clank: All 4 One.  Announced last month at Gamescom, R&C: All 4 One once again features the titular heroes but this time they’re accompanied by the bumbling fools that are Captain Quark and Dr. Nefarious.  Featuring online play for up to 4-players, All 4 One retains the core style of the franchise while adding a few multiplayer centric mechanics.
