Two Legends Of Horror May Be Joining The Roster Of Mortal Kombat [Rumor]

Today on the special day that is Toasty Tuesday a very interesting rumor has surfaced which could may seem a bit far out there to be believable, but could ultimately become a reality.  Ok, so we know that so far there are various plans in place to support Mortal Kombat down the road with DLC characters. So far NetherRealm Studios have announced the first crop of DLC characters (Blind Kenshi, Scarlet) which should be available in the near future.

Episode 2 Of Mortal Kombat: Legacy Is Now Available And There's A Quasi Fatality In It

Once again it’s Toasty Tuesday and along with the release of the new Mortal Kombat game, episode 2 of Mortal Kombat: Legacy is now available to watch.  Last week we saw the long awaited web series debut and it certainly didn’t disappoint. Sure, the first episode was a bit slow and had slightly more gunplay than hand-to-hand combat, but the acting was good, the directing was solid and it was just nice to see Mortal Kombat again.

Mortal Kombat's New King of the Hill Mode Looks Like Absolute Fun

The Mortal Kombat franchise always has big surprises for gamers and one of the biggest is the new King of the Hill mode.  So far NetherRealm Studios has stayed rather quiet when it came to the multiplayer modes offered in the new MK game outside of confirming the inclusion of having the new Tag Battle mode playable online.  Well in true Mortal Kombat fashion, NetherRealm Studios has devised a new mode that is slightly silly, extremely cool and possibly addicting in the form of King of the Hill.

First Footage From Mortal Kombat: Legacy + Debut Image of Sub-Zero

Tuesday is definitely going to be Toasty Tuesday for gamers and fans of the Mortal Kombat franchise seeing as how the long-awaited Mortal Kombat web series is set to debut.  Officially dubbed Mortal Kombat: Legacy, the ten-part web series will feature some of our favorite MK characters like Jax, Scorpion, Princess Kitana and even Stryker as they battle one another and eventually may or may not come face to face with foes like Baraka and Shao Kahn.

Shang Tsung's Origin Is Told In This New Mortal Kombat Character Vignette [Video]

If you really think about it, Shang Tsung is kind of a punk.  Yeah, he may be a powerful practitioner of evil magic but when it comes to the actual Mortal Kombat tournament he mostly just sits around watching people as they battle to the death until he does the whole “Your Soul is Mine” routine and some poor chap turns completely blue or is simply a near mummified corpse.  But as this new character vignette shows, Shang Tsung is more than simply Shao Kahn’s magical bitch.

Johnny Cage Shows Why He's So Awesome In This New Mortal Kombat Video

Fans of the Mortal Kombat franchise all know that when it comes to being totally cocky and too egotistical that no one trumps Johnny Cage.  The man that’s supposed to be a riff on the Hollywood action stars that we love has been a fan-favorite character since he first appeared in MK1, way back in 1992.  Since debuting as a somewhat obvious parody on Jean-Claude Van Damme, Johnny Cage has since blossomed to become a character whose one-liners and attitude is completely unrivaled by anything we’ve seen before, whether it’s a real person or a completely fictitious one.

Mortal Kombat Is Getting Some Major Characters As DLC

The newest Mortal Kombat game is still three weeks away from blowing our minds, but developer NetherRealm Studios has already announced the first batch of post-release DLC for the game.

It's Double The Action In This New Mortal Kombat Video

Today is Friday and y’all should know what that means. No, it’s not time to celebrate Fried Chicken Friday or go to T.G.I.  Friday’s and have the obligatory T.G.I.F. moment as you eat chicken strips and drink overpriced beer or mixed beverages. Nope, it’s not time to celebrate any of that rubbish and instead we should all get excited because it’s Fatality Friday and that obviously means it’s time for a new Mortal Kombat video.

Latest Mortal Kombat Screens Show More Blood And Ass Kicking

A lot of games can fall victim to their own hype as the expectations gamers have going into a game can often reach such high levels that it’s almost impossible for the final game to deliver such a thing.  Going into the new Mortal Kombat game I think gamers were expecting a lot out of the game seeing as how NetherRealm was going back to the roots of the franchise.  We’ve seen other developers try to go old-school with their sequels but the results sometimes have been a bit mixed, either because they lost touch of what made the original games so much fun or because the games simply

First Footage of Kratos Unleashing His Fury and Rage in Mortal Kombat

When it was revealed back in December that Kratos would be joining the combatants in the newest Mortal Kombat game, I think some gamers didn’t know what to expect.  We’ve already seen Kratos pop up in a fighting game before (Soul Calibur: Broken Destiny) but that appearance wasn’t really the best and the thinking amongst some gamers was that Sony may have finally been whoring our favorite war god a bit too much.
