Dark Souls Offers Lots Of Brutality And Some Stunning Imagery [Video]

Whereas some people may think that Dragon’s Dogma from Capcom is too clean looking and typical in the art design department, that’s definitely not the case for Dark Souls. The follow-up to the mega cult hit Demon's Souls, Dark Souls has everything gamers want out of the sequel: bigger bosses, bigger environments, enemy designs that are unique without being too outlandish and more brutal dying.

Still Haven't Had Enough Of Dragon Ball Games? Well Here's Another One For You...

Most gamers do love to engage in battles that involve guys with green skin who just so happen to have antennas or against foes with spiky hair that puts to shame what we see out of the Final Fantasy franchise.  For over twenty years the Dragon Ball franchise has had a place in gaming and we’ve seen games ranging from side-scrolling fighters, MMO based adventure games and the standard 1 vs.

Namco Bandai Launches Soul Calibur Teaser Site

This year seems like the fighting game genre is getting a major resurgence with the release and subsequent success of games like Marvel vs. Capcom 3 and Mortal Kombat.  Those two aforementioned and highly awesome games aren’t all we have for the next year or so as games like Tekken Tag Tournament 2 and Street Fighter X Tekken/Tekken X Street Fighter are on the horizon as well.  But Namco Bandai isn’t just happy with releasing two core fighting games in the next year as they’re also bringing back the mid-century weapon based action of Soul Calibur.

Lastest Ridge Racer Unbounded Trailer Is Smashingly Absurd

As a gamer I like to think that I can be pretty open minded about certain things or at least be willing to try something out at least once via a demo or snatching it from Gamefly.  Looking at what has been shown at Ridge Racer Unbounded I feel a bit closed minded of sorts since I’m having trouble accepting the jump from stylish arcade racing to complete brute force street racing with a pronounced American appeal.

Ridge Racer: Unbounded Surfaces Again With More Arcade Action

I had meant to post this earlier but the Ridge Racer fan within me is still perplexed at the product we’re set to receive.  Leading up to its proper reveal at E3 this year, Namco Bandai has released a new trailer for Ridge Racer Unbounded, the new spin-off/quasi-reboot of the popular arcade racing Ridge Racer series.  Back in February Namco Bandai revealed their new version of the Ridge Racer franchise which was being developed by the Finnish based studio BugBear and the reaction was extremely mixed.

Live-Action Trailer For Inversion Is Cool, But Is Somewhat Superfluous

Inversion is a video game that at this point won’t necessarily ring any bells when mentioned to gamers.

Dynasty Warriors Gundam 3 Trailer Has Tons Of Mechs And Tons Of Explosions

If you’re a fan of laser sword wielding mechs then you’re in luck as Dynasty Warriors Gundam 3 is slated to arrive in North America this Summer.  Our friends over in Japan have already had the game for quite some time but Namco Bandai is finally getting the localized version of the lastest Gundam slobber-knocker ready for gamers in the West just in time for the dreaded days of gaming in the Summer when there’s nothing new to play.  So if you like to blow up mechs and use epic beam weapon attacks then chances are you’ll dig Dynasty Warriors Gundam 3 even if it’s a bit janky.

Is Katamari Damacy Ready For A Comeback?

The King of the Cosmos and his young son could be making a return as Namco Bandai could be prepping a new installment in the Katamari Damacy series.  Since first hitting the PS2 back in 2004, the Katamari Damacy series has won the hearts of gamers thanks to its unique style and gameplay that allowed people to literally go crazy as they roll up everything in sight – people, cats and cars included.  The last few Katamari games haven’t exactly captured the same spirit as the first two games, but who doesn’t want to see the King of the Cosmo return and once again give us some ridiculo

Ace Combat: Assault Horizon Story Trailer Is Short, But Somewhat Sweet

Aside from offering gameplay that’s akin to a 3rd person action game taking place in the sky, Ace Combat: Assault Horizon is also doing something else new to the franchise: it’s offering a Hollywood style story. It’s not that the previous Ace Combat games didn’t offer thrilling stories, but to go with the new modern warfare action motif that Assault Horizon has, the game has a story that may seem a bit derivative but fits the current tropes that we’re used to seeing from the genre for the past twenty years.

Roster of Tekken Tag Tournament 2 Revealed + New 4 Minute Trailer

Earlier this week we were promised a lengthy new trailer for Tekken Tag Tournament 2 and today such a thing has been bestowed upon us. While the trailer doesn’t have a name, I must say that the title “Tekken Tag Tournament 2: How To Kick Ass and Look Flashy Whilst Doing So” may be an appropriate title based on what has been shown to us.
