Soul Calibur: Broken Destiny premiere trailer

Besides announcing Tekken 6 for the PSP last week Namco Bandai also announced Soul Calibur: Broken Destiny. This first iteration of the Soul Calibur franchise on the PSP is essentially a port of Soul Calibur IV with a few additional features. 

Dead to Rights is back from the dead for retribution

One of the few games to be released in the post Max Payne era that turned out to be good was Namco’s Dead to Rights.  The game managed to establish its own gritty noir narrative while also having fun combat and unique scenarios that kept the action fresh. And how could you not like a game where you had a companion in the form of a dog that you could command to maul various enemies?

At this point most gamers are tired of the "09 is the year of PS3" or similiar sayings of that ilk but you can't help but agree with that sentiment when its said for the PSP. The system seems to be on an absolute roll as of late with upcoming titles like MotorStorm: Artic Edge, Assassins Creed, Socom: Fireteam Bravo 3 and today it was announced that the massive fighting franchise Tekken would be making it's second appearance on the PSP in the form of Tekken 6.
