Keiji Inafune Is Finally Ready To Show His Newest Game

Gamers may know Keiji Inafune the most for some of his brutally honest comments concerning Capcom, but the man is still a game designer and next week we’ll know if he still has the goods. The man behind franchises such as Mega Man and Onimusha will finally be unveiling his new game next week in playable form.  The first major game from his new company Intercept, which is one of two new endeavors, King of Pirates is a 3DS title that somewhat goes back to the old-school days of Keiji Inafune game design.

Keiji Inafune's First Major Post Capcom Project Could Be Out Sooner Than Expected

When Mega Man creator Keiji Inafune left Capcom last October the video game industry was waiting with baited breathe to see what the famed creator would do next. After spilling the beans on what made him leave Capcom (there’s still a lot of resentment and simmering rage), Keiji revealed that he was not opening just one studio, but two new studios – both of which with different specialties in the entertainment and video game fields.

Former Capcom honcho Keiji Infanue Reveals His New Companies

After having to delay the time of his meeting due to the events that transpired in Japan several weeks ago, former Capcom R&D head Keiji Infanue has revealed what’s next for him in the world of video games.  Since Keiji’s departure from Capcom last October it was unclear if he would continue his career in the video game industry or perhaps call it a day and look towards uncharted territory, much like what former Namco employee Keita Takahashi has done.
