Duke Nukem Forever

Duke Nukem Forever Sales Are "Underwhelming" So Far

I usually tend to shy away from discussing or showcasing sales numbers for games since stuff like that can either be uninteresting or completely depressing.  On one hand it may be interesting to a few people to know that game X sold five million units in a two month span but at the same time when a game like Shadows of the Damned fails to appear in the Top 30 chart in Europe I just want to curl up in a ball and sit in a corner.

Fist-Bump or Bitch-Slap: Valve or EASports

This is the love/hate relationship between the video game industry and myself. Every week I will pick someone who gets my Fist-bump for doing a good deed, someone who gets my undesirable Bitch-Slap for doing something wrong (or just something that pisses me off), and I'll share my experience/opinion along the way.

Duke Nukem Forever = Reality

Alright everyone. So what do we do now?

A few weeks ago, Duke Nukem Forever went gold. Yup, gold. Here I was thinking “holy crap, something that was never going to happen, is happening. In two weeks time, we the gamers will be playing Duke.” Today, DNF was released.

Duke Nukem Forever Demo Hits June 3rd For First Access Club Members

After over 14 years in development limbo and add a few more years to that total from when I last played a "new" Duke Nukem game, it brings me a sense of grand euphoria to finally to be able to get my hands on a new Duke Nukem game this upcoming June 14th.

Now thanks to a recent announcement from Gearbox Software, the Duke Nukem Forever Demo will finally be available to download exclusively for gamers who are members of the Duke Nukem First Access Club beginning on June 3rd on the Xbox 360, PS3, and PC.

Duke Nukem Forever Delayed. No, This Isn't A Joke (Never Bet On Duke?)

At this point it should’ve been completely expected, but 2K Games and developer Gearbox Software have announced that Duke Nukem Forever has been delayed.  After spending an eternity in development to the point where it became a joke, it seemed like Duke Nukem was finally on track once Gearbox took over the reins and was even on track for a May 3rd release. But once again Duke has been struck with bad luck and the king of alien blasting and cigar chomping has been hit with another delay.

Duke Nukem Preview [PAX East 2011]

Duke Nukem, let's be honest here, he is the bad-ass of video games. Duke doesn't go shark fishing with a fishing pole; he does it with his bare-freaking-hands. Duke doesn't need a spaceship to save the galaxy from some giant, life-force eating apocalypse; he'll just wait for them to get to where he is and punch their general in the face.

With that said, is 2K games doing the forbidden game from our childhood past justice? Well the answer to that question is: both yes and no.

Duke Nukem Forever: Balls of Steel Edition Announced. BEST CE NAME EVER!

The occasion of Duke Nukem Forever being released is a joyous one that should be celebrated with beer, junk food, parties and other such lively things.  I’m sure we here at Shogun Gamer will have something planned for the release of Duke Nukem Forever, but everyone else can celebrate the occasion if they wish with the recently announced Duke Nukem Forever: Balls of Steel Edition.

Duke Nukem Forever Returns With More Over-the-Top Screens

After waiting for ten years, Duke Nukem Forever is only four months away from finally being in our hands.  The game has quite a stigma surrounding it, but at this point I think a lot of gamers just want to get their hands on DNF and have a fun time peeing in bathrooms, looking at the occasional nude stripper and having a merry time blowing the head off of a mutant boar.

Here's further proof of Duke Nukem Forever actually being real [Video]

If the notion of Duke Nukem Forever’s impending May release seems too good to be true for you then here’s a brand new video which points to the news being actual reality.  Yes, there’s no reason to pinch yourself or activate your kick to awaken yourself from your level 2 or level 3 dreams as Duke Nukem Forever is indeed coming out this year in a fashion that’s almost befitting of the character, big and unexpected.
