Deep Silver released today, the newest trailer for Duke Nukem: Critical Mass for Nintendo DS and Sony PSP.  The Earth Defense Force attempts to ensure the planet’s security have transported Duke into the future. However, just moments after Duke's departure, Proton, Duke’s original nemesis, launches a devastating attack on Earth.

Duke Nukem Forever finally gets a release date (END OF THE WORLD CONFIRMED!)

After being the butt of jokes for nearly a decade, Duke Nukem will finally reclaim his crown as the go-to game for over-the-top action and cheesy one-liners as Duke Nukem Forever will finally be available to gamers in May.  Speaking to Game Informer, Gearbox Software’s Randy Pitchford confirmed the North American release date of May 3rd, 2011 as when we will see Duke make his long awaited return to the world of gaming.

A new Duke Nukem game could be upon us

You’ve got to love the Duke Nukem franchise since despite not releasing a relevant game in a long ass time the series keeps on kicking.  It’s kind of sad to see the once great Duke resorted to being a joke amongst the gaming community due to the troubled development cycle of appropriately titled Duke Nukem Forever which was killed earlier this year when developer 3D Realms closed. But based on what appeared on the Duke Nukem Facebook page it looks like DN Forever may not be dead.

Duke Nukem could be making an apperance on Xbox Live Arcade

While it may be a long time before we ever see the fabled Duke Nukem Forever or Duke Nukem Begins released we could see Duke grace us with his presence on Xbox Live Arcade.
