First image/tease of Batman: Arkham City

To some it was a massive disappointment that we didn’t any new info on Batman: Arkham Asylum 2 at E3 or at the San Diego Comic Con.  Aside from the Spike VGA reveal and a few character reveals via voice actors, and some interesting domain registrations, we’ve haven’t gotten a peep as to the next adventure of the Dark Knight.

WB Interactive announces the Green Lantern game

With the San Diego Comic Con going on right now there’s plenty of awesome news going around.  Stuff like Marvel vs. Capcom 3 and TRON: Legacy has been major show highlights since they’re so damn awesome.  Well not everything announced at or in conjunction with SDCC 2010 can be awesome and that’s clear with Warner Brothers Interactive announcement of the Green Lantern game.

Batman: Arkham Asylum 2 domain names offer some hints

To some the lack of updates for Batman: Arkham Asylum 2 at E3 was a huge disappointment. It would’ve definitely been nice to see what sort of action Batman has to face in Arkham Asylum 2, even if all we got was yet another pre-rendered teaser trailer. But with the game being a ways off from release, maybe it was for the best that WB Interactive didn’t tease us of the Batman goodness that awaits.

C2E2 impressions: robots, expensive toys and other geek goodness

When it comes to places where hordes of geeks can congregate in an orgy of comic book, video game and movie goodness the Midwest has been out of luck.  Sure, Wizard Magazine has their annual Wizard World event but as of late that has become nothing more than a place to trade comics and get D-list celebs to autograph things.

The world of NIER is being transported to comic books

Somehow Square Enix’s upcoming Action-RGP NIER just became more amazing today. SE has announced that they’re partnering with DC Comic’s Wildstorm label to release a series of NIER comic books. There will be three books total, all of which will expand the NIER universe and answer questions that are unanswered in the game.

Another look at Factor 5's canceled Superman game

This generation has seen a lot of developers shut down due to a multitude of reasons and one of those shuttered devs included Factor 5. After releasing the widely panned Lair for the PS3 the studio stayed mum on their projects with rumors pointing towards a new Kid Icarus game for the Wii.

Early footage from The Flash game

Today must be the day where we see footage from cancelled games with the footage from Road Rash and now the arrival of footage from The Flash. Based on the popular DC comic character the game was sadly cancelled when publisher Brash went bankrupt in what was probably one of the quickest, and not that surprising, publisher closures that we've seen.
