Capcom Unveils Special Online Exclusive Edition of Dead Rising 2

Capcom unveils yet another special edition of Dead Rising 2 that will only be available for purchase via Capcom's online store site.

The unique set is called "The High Stakes Edition" and will cost $89.99 for either the Xbox 360 or PS3 version.

Attention all achievements whores, take your first gander at the 12 achievements totaling 200 Gamerscore points that awaits you to unlock in Capcom's Dead Rising 2: Case Zero DLC exclusively for the Xbox 360.

Some of the achievements may contain spoilers to Case Zero's storyline so you may want to avert your eyes. A few of the achievements presented in the DLC are sure to repeat themselves in the full game such as any achievement related to zombie kill count and weapon combos.

Capcom Reveals Entire Fortune City Map For Dead Rising 2.

Capcom releases Fortune City map for entire playing area that will be available to explore and slay zombies for Dead Rising 2.

The map contains all the details pertaining to the various stores and casinos you can visit along with all the safe-houses, save points and arenas.

No word yet if the entire area is immediately accessible at the start of game or some areas will locked and opened up through game progression.

Capcom Sets A Release Date For The Dead Rising 2: Case Zero DLC

Capcom is set unleash the Dead Rising 2: Case Zero DLC, which for now is a Microsoft's Xbox 360 exclusive, on August 31st on Xbox Live Arcade.

The DLC will serve as a standalone zombie filled prologue to the story of Dead Rising 2 in which you will guide a character name Chuck Greene trying to escape from the town of Still Creek while in search of Zombrex that he needs in order to save his daughter from becoming one with the undead.

Today is a good day to be a fan of Capcom games. With the news of Marvel vs. Capcom 3 and Bionic Commando Rearmed 2 I’m sure lots of people are giving exploding high-fives right now.  But the Capcom goodness keeps rolling in with the release of new Dead Rising 2 media.

Finally thanks to TGS we have some new footage for Dead Rising 2 including our first look at the inventive multiplayer mode.  If you’re looking for fun ways to kill zombies then DR2 is the game for you and people will definitely get a kick out of some of the new weapons.

Among the new weapons players can use to kill the endless zombie horde include combining a pitchfork and a shotgun to make an almost modern take on the bayonet.
