Crash Bandicoot Reboot Could Be In The Works

A once legendary video game character could be poised for a major revival if a leaked image is to be believed. Regarded back in the day as the next big thing,  the era of Crash Bandicoot came to a close once Naughty Dog, the original creators of Crash, decided to move on to bigger and better things. Crash didn’t immediately die once Naughty Dog left, but he didn’t exactly receive the attention required to keep him relevant, a thing which led to the franchise to die a few years ago.

James Bond May No Longer Be With Activision

The most dangerous foe of James Bond may have at long last been defeated in a somewhat unexpected way.  I’m not referring to longstanding 007 villains such as Blofeld or even new entities like Silva as I’m instead referring to Activision - the company which for the last six years has wasted the James Bond franchise.

Eurocom Officially Closes Despite Planned Restructuring

As if the Holiday spirit wasn’t already active within us all, the brutality of the video game industry has hit once again as yet another studio is shuttering.  After announcing their plans to focus on mobile titles in the wake of firing 150 staff members, Eurocom have announced that the studio will cease operations entirely and close up shop.

The Walking Dead: Survival Instict Set To Feature Two Key Actors

Unfortunately I haven’t been able to keep up with the latest season of The Walking Dead, but from what I’ve heard the show is still the rage these days due to the combo of zombies and surprise moments.  Say what you will about the caliber of The Walking Dead compared to other shows on AMC, but the simple fact is that people dig it since it’s solid for what it is. The popularity the AMC version of The Walking Dead has received of course meant there was one logical thing to do: create a spin-off video game.

Eurocom (007 Legends) Issues Major Layoffs and Changes Company Focus

The video game industry has not been a gentle beast to yet another development studio which has been forced to issue massive layoffs and shift its focus as a company in an attempt to stay alive.  Today U.K. based developer Eurocom announced that it will be shedding the majority of it’s staff and focusing on mobile efforts in the future due to the continued economic shifts and lackluster performances from their last few titles.

Script Excerpts Reveal Elements Of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 [Rumor]

We all knew that the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare series would continue since the closure of the central storyline in MW3, the departure of the creators from Infinity Ward, and the subsequent reshuffling IW received isn’t enough to stop the Modern Warfare machine in the eyes of Activision.

Based on the end of Modern Warfare 3 there was the notion that the series may be poised for a quasi-reboot, think DmC, but details have surfaced which differ to that as Modern Warfare 4 could be a direct sequel.

The Most Iconic Bond Film Of All Time Joins 007 Legends

We’re getting closer and closer to the release of Skyfall, the newest James Bond movie, and Activision has finally revealed the final film set to be included in 007 Legends. To no real surprise, the fifth and final classic Bond film bound to be retold in 007 Legends is none other than the all-time classic that is Goldfinger.

Screens Surface Of A Cancelled Crash Team Racing Follow-Up

Yet another game can be added to the already crowded halls of unreleased games as we have our first look at a proposed Crash Team Racing sequel.  Back in the early days of the PS1 generation Crash Bandicoot became an unofficial spokesman for Sony’s new gaming console and in turn gained legions of fans. Besides the amusing PS1 commercials featuring Crash it helped that the actual games featuring the titular character were fun to play which only added to the popularity of Crash.

007 Legends Reveals Two Additional Bond Films (They're Not Classic At All)

I can feel myself getting excited as each day passes since we’re getting closer and closer to the release of Skyfall, the new 007 movie.  It may still be two whole months before I can see James Bond return on the big screen, but after waiting four years for such a thing to happen I don’t have a problem waiting for a few weeks to pass.  The release of the new James Bond film will of course be accompanied by a video game which in this case is 007 Legends, the 007 mash-up game which pays homage to the series through retelling classic 007 films with a modern edge.

Tony Hawk's Pro Skater HD Is Finally Given A Release Date For The PSN

With skateboarding games not being as plentiful as they once were the options gamers have are somewhat dry these days.  EA’s Skate series is dead and buried but thankfully the Tony Hawk franchise returned last month with Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater HD.  As a HD remake of the classic Tony Hawk games the product as a whole was solid as it provided that same classic formula but with a new coat of paint that not only looked good but managed to hold things together.
